Having grown up in the New York area, lived in four countries and established a successful speaking and coaching career in the UK, Mindy is a blend of fun, straight talk, respect, consideration and sophistication. We don’t believe anyone has ever called Mindy boring…
Down to earth and about as far from a prima donna as possible, she calls herself “low maintenance”. Many clients and bureaus have said she is easy to work with, making their lives easier and their events smoother.

Mindy started her career as a trainer and speaker in 1987. She had already been teaching Spanish and English as a Second Language for several years, but her real passion lay in the area of business, specifically sales and marketing. She trained with some excellent mentors and facilitated hundreds of sales training days for a U.S. telecommunications company before setting up her own training and coaching company in 1991. Since then, she has worked in the corporate world as Director of Marketing and has run her current business for two decades, delivering thousands of sessions for clients in 18 countries. "Every leader can be and should aspire to be a thought leader and a thoughtful leader.” This concept runs through all of Mindy’s content, speeches and training sessions.Believing in the power of developing many leaders in an organization, Mindy helps clients understand how to leverage the talent and thought leadership inherent in their existing teams, resulting in improved morale, loyalty and retention of key managers and employees. Another key belief shared by Mindy and her ideal clients is the huge potential to develop and improve oneself at any time and in any situation. Her TEDx talk which illustrates this philosophy has garnered nearly one million views.
By now, you will have noticed that one of Mindy’s character traits is ‘low maintenance’. Put more simply, she is down-to-earth and enjoys doing business with as little fuss as possible. Unlike some of her peers, she is also very easy to contact and prefers direct communication, to help the client decide if she and her content is right for them. She has no problem advising a client that a different speaker could suit them better. Clients tend to stay in touch and engaged for years, often requesting more sessions and new content which, as a content expert, Mindy is more than happy to provide!
Since publishing her first book (A Dance in the Desert) in 2001, Mindy has gone on to author and co-author thirteen further books. Her two flagship books are 24 Carat BOLD and The Thoughtful Leader, and her speaking, training and coaching is aligned with the content of these two books. Recently, she has been commissioned to write more books and articles on different aspects of thought leadership and thoughtful leadership.
Mindy is also founder of the global multi-award-winning book coaching brand The Book Midwife® which has supported over one thousand people to write thought leading books.
